Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-siteWhat you can expect:Responsibilities:Work within a development team to develop solutions to meet business requirementsPython ApplicationsProcess AutomationData ModelingApplication ConfigurationUser InterfaceEnsure efficient architecture through technical implementation which follows sound software development principlesSolutions are scalable to new use-casesSolutions are flexible to support future changesSolutions are stable and reliable in ProductionSolutions are transparently documentedCollaborate with Product Owner and Actuarial users (Valuation, Forecasting, Risk, etc) during all phases of the software development processEnsure implementation meets User Acceptance CriteriaPerform testing to identify and prioritize bugsWhat youll need:1 years of experience in programming languages (Python preferred)1 years of experience in actuarial functionsMinimum 2 exams completed towards Associate of Society of Actuaries credential (or equivalent)Familiarity with actuarial modeling software (PolySystems preferred)Familiarity with agile methodologiesBachelors DegreeItd be a plus if you had:Knowledge of software design principles and experience in building scalable applicationsComfortable working with software development tools including Git, Bitbucket, IDEsPrudential welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
