You will be given high levels of responsibility across multiple projects and asked to tackle complex business challenges from day this role, you may be asked to evaluate the size and growth potential of a market within the alternatives universe and develop potential strategies for entering the market. You will also be responsible to analyze how our top competitors are responding to market dynamics, or to help evaluate and diligence potential acquisition targets. These projects will provide you with exposure to PGIM and the asset management industry, and you will develop a broad business strategy addition to conducting research and analysis, you will be responsible for presenting your findings and recommendations to senior management. You will also have the opportunity to be mentored by PGIMs senior business leaders and be coached and trained by asset management and strategy experts.This position is based in our office in Newark, New Jersey and will follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).What you can expectDevelop problem statements and structure problem solving approaches to PGIMs most critical challengesConduct analyses on markets, competitors, and other business itemsEstablish the fact-base to aid in answering the PGIM senior managements most pressing questionsPresent your findings and recommendations to senior PGIM leadersWhat you will bringBachelors degree is required with strong academic background1-3 years of experience, preferably in internal strategy, management consulting, or bankingKnowledge of financial servicesInterest in business strategy/development and asset managementStrong analytical and quantitative skillsPassion for problem solvingDemonstrated leadership and teamwork abilitiesStrong interpersonal and relationship-management skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExecutive presence and the composure to interact with senior leadersEntrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $125,000 Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
