LHH is currently recruiting a Business Litigation Paralegal for a large and well-respected law firm client in Raleigh, NC. The litigation paralegal will assist assigned attorneys in the firm's litigation practice with a focus on business and employment litigation. Firm offers a competitive salary and an inviting, accommodating and respectful work culture.ResponsibilitiesComposing, transcribing and editing of discovery documents, pleadings, motions, affidavits and other materialsMaintain and monitor docket and court deadlinesFiling of documents in state and federal courtCollection of high-volume of documents for cases, including organization, redaction, and indexingAssist attorney with preparation for trialTrial assistance can include taking notes, handling exhibits and maintaining documentsLegal research using a variety of databases and PACERQualificationsMinimum of three years of business litigation experienceBachelor's degree preferredParalegal certification and/or NC Certification preferredExperience in all phases of the litigation processKnowledge of court procedures and rules in federal and state courtsProficiency in legal research platformsStrong project and case management skillseDiscovery experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailFirm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision and life insurance; 401(k) w/ profit sharing; PTO; and HSA and FSA options.Would you like to learn more about the Litigation Paralegal job that LHH is recruiting for in Raleigh NC?
