East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over the age of 55, and remains the ONLY cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County. Know Your Rights: Responsibilities The RN Clinical Supervisor for wound care provides direct care in both the outpatient and inpatient wound care clinic. In conjunction with the director, oversees the clinical program in regards to staffing, Performance Improvement, prior authorizations, insurance verifications, and plans of care. Communicates with providers, leads clinical and hyperbaric staff, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient's treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Serves as the on-site coordinator for daily business operations. Provides administrative services to the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center providers and staff in order to achieve comprehensive care which includes quality, efficiency and safety of patients and staff. May complete a variety of clerical and business-related assignments in additional to clinical duties. Assures smooth functioning in the office. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state. 2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon of hire and maintain current ER, ICU, and Telemetry. 4. Previous acute care hospital experience preferred. 5. Previous wound care/hyperbaric knowledge and or experience preferred (1-year). 6. Wound care certification within first two years of hire, maintains hyperbaric competency. 7.
