Job Duties:Prepares and portions foods according to established recipes. Ensures compliance with food safety regulations. Lead kitchen staff in all aspects of food and dining services.Oversee all aspects of food preparation. Ensure palatability, presentation, and resident satisfaction.Follow portion controls as dictated by menus and plete required paperwork for quality of food and services.Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.Follows assigned break schedules; work weekends, evenings and holidays are required. Perform other duties as assigned by management.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to work independently.Time management skills.Attention to detail and sanitation rules.Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredServe Safe Certification Prior culinary and/or food service experience requiredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and walking.Must be able to access and navigate all areas.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.May be required work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment.
