The QI Assistant will assist with the development and administration of department policies and procedures, coordinate aspects of the data collection and entry process, analysis and reporting, and with research related to best practice, regulatory standards, and policy/procedure development. Contributes to the development and maintenance of organizational policies and procedures, supports the accreditation process, conducts risk assessments, and tracks unusual incidents, all aimed at driving continuous organizational improvement. Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of the data entry process, as well as oversee the collection, organization, and initial analysis, and reporting functions to support organizational objectives. Assist in the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all departments. Support the accreditation and audit processes through research and ensure compliance with relevant standards of accreditation and best practice standards in areas of outcomes and continuous quality improvement. Contact private firms, public agencies, and other nonprofit organizations to collect data regarding rules, policies, procedures, and other matters. Contribute to the development and maintenance of organizational policies and procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments with each department and organization-wide to identify potential issues and mitigate risk. Track unusual incidents to inform organizational improvement strategies using project management system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Assist with research, review, and development of organizational policies, including Quality Improvement, Risk Prevention & Management, Behavior Support & Management, and training. Support ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives, including COA reaccreditation, peer record review, client & stakeholder satisfaction surveys, Unusual Incident Reporting, etc. Provide support for the QI & Training Coordinator, Strategy department, and organization-wide including, tracking, evaluation, and reporting on behalf of the QI department.
