Automotive Body Shop Metal Technician Summary Title: Automotive Body Shop Metal Technician ID: 816 Description The Hoselton Auto Mall is looking for an experienced Metal Technician to join the team in their newly-renovated Body Shop $2000 signing bonus: half at 6 months and remainder at 1 year Supportive, fully staffed office and management We will pay to relocate your toolbox Parts department mirror-matches parts for every job Our workflow process helps eliminate waste and increase productivity This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM ( no weekends , some flexibility on start/end time ). >Our collision shop is Nissan, AAA, Subaru and GM Certified >Volume has increased 25% over the last year and we are still growing >Excellent earning potential for experienced, flat-rate metal technicians Newly Renovated Collision Center -- With the most updated equipment in the area We use the ROME Body Shop management system, the best system in the industry All new locker room Two (2) new paint booths PPG Water based paint, and White Belt trained shop Two (2) Frame machines Multiple styles of lifts for different types of repairs All new HID lighting throughout New mobile spot welders that improve efficiency We have the largest parts area around for the body shop which keeps our shop clear of clutter Compensation: $50,000 to $100,000 annually (based on experience) Qualifications: Must have own tools Must have Collision shop experience I-Car training preferred, but not required Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a drug screen Why Hoselton? DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Disassemble vehicles Write- up supplements with estimator Address any hidden damage on vehicles due to loss Repair vehicles to pre-accident condition Reassemble vehicles as needed EXPECTATIONS Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures including the dress code Perform duties as workload necessitates Maintain a positive and respectful attitude Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload High motivation Enthusiasm Strong attention to detail Drug test required PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
