Position Summary: Director of Payment and Operational Services leads the management of the departments below for both consumer and business members, as well as the Operations Systems Administrator position. The Director will act as a functional expert on payment and operational related services including initiatives and projects relating to these operations. Account Services Escheat Subpoenas Quality Control Tax Levies Specialty Accounts Writs Card Services Credit Card Maintenance including credit card application processing Debit Card Maintenance including fraud and non-fraud disputes Deposit Operations Deposit Processing ATM/ITM Administration Cash Ordering for Branches Fed Cash Letter/Fed Returns and Adjustments Mobile Deposit Teller Support Electronic Funds Transfer ACH Billpayer FedNow Share Drafts Wire Transfers Supervisory Responsibilities: Account Services Manager Card Services Manager Deposit Operations Manager Operations Systems Administrator Essential Functions: Leads ongoing management of the Account Services, Card Services, Deposit Operations and Electronic Funds Transfer Departments. Oversees and guides Operations Systems Administrator in attaining milestones and goals related to systems, systems reports, compliance, auditing, project testing, application releases and streamlined functionality across the departments. Sets performance and operational goals for each department which are aligned with the Credit Union's mission and strategic initiatives. Drives the execution of Credit Union strategies to deliver exceptional service and support. Identifies and recommends product, service, and technology improvements to gain efficiencies in the departments. Requirements Required Skills / Abilities: Demonstrated dedication to positive, member-focus service. Proven emotional intelligence skills with the ability to lead, adapt, and motivate a team of diverse staff. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication to ensure personnel and member-related issues are managed in a fair, consistent manner. Excellent technical skills, strong Excel skills and ability to work with multiple systems. Knowledgeable in the Payment and Deposit Industries including mobile deposit and payment applications, card processing, ACH transactions and files, and Federal Reserve systems and requirements. Available for overnight travel. Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Seven plus years of Operational, Processing, and Deposit Account expertise at a financial institution. Knowledgeable in card services and member services. Familiarity with business deposit accounts.
