Supply Chain Planner Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Runs MRP daily and review requirements that are needed to replenish sheets, accessories and packaging supplies inventory at assigned warehouses Plans shipments that are needed to send inventory to other warehouse facilities Receives customer quotes and orders from Sales and determines lead time or delivery date for orders Generates the schedule for Cuts and meets with the Cut Lead to review the schedule Ensures the confirmed delivery date is in alignment with production schedule, finished good availability & warehouse workload Acts as the primary contact between Sales and Logistics to identify shipment constraints and develop plans with warehouse to meet customers' needs. Generates reports to monitor and follow-up on open stock transfers and closes any gaps that are found Responsible for managing the pallet inventory levels and working with the Pallet Shop and Purchasing to ensure we have the material on time for Production's needs. Define order scheduling problems by collecting the appropriate data, establish the facts, and draw valid conclusions Update the appropriate departments of potential order delivery changes/issues and escalate when necessary Processes all receivals of inventory into SAP for assigned warehouses Responsible for managing, conducting physical inventories for all the assigned warehouses Ability to work/manage projects as needed Must be able to effectively present information to groups of managers. Supports as a back-up to the rest of Planning team Work with the warehouse manager and supervisors to ensure cut schedule is executed according to the plan or if any adjustments are needed Work with purchasing to submit purchase requisitions on vendor related items and helps communicate any delays from vendors back to Sales team Responsible to generate forecasts for Accessory items that are vendor related and submit to Purchasing May be assigned other duties as needed to support the business. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Background in planning, 3-5 years of inventory and manufacturing/purchasing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience using SAP or other ERP software. Must be detailed oriented Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter with excellent communications skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate with all internal and external organizations as required. Ability to work in a highly stressful fast-paced environment. Experience with Excel at least intermediate level (Advance is a plus) Critical thinker Ability for minimalTravel
