The Onsite Material Handler within our logistics department is tasked with supporting site logistics and material handling, receiving shipments, management and control of tools, assemblies, and materials on an assigned jobsite. This position will ensure all materials and tools are placed at the point of install for the assigned construction project in alignment with all assigned responsibilities. This is an entry level position with our logistics team that has great potential for growth and development. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 0-3 years of related experience Travel: 60-75% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of onsite field leadership, the main function is to provide material handling support to assigned areas of the assigned job site. Use of driveable equipment to move materials is required (forklift, Lull, boom reach etc.) Deliver materials, assemblies, and tools, in an efficient and timely manner, to the point of use on our jobsites. Organizes material storage (i.e. Conex, laydown yard, cages, racks, etc.). Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions. Processes various paperwork (i.e. routing slips, tool transfers, material transfers, return forms, etc.) on a daily basis. Maintains accurate inventory under the direction of Logistics Leadership. Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and equipment. Consistently follows workplace safety procedures. Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner. Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision. Works as a member of a cohesive team. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
