It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. You will support the Digital Solutions Team by maintaining and enhancing the Bank's digital communication platforms through application and web development. You contribute to the team, projects, and initiatives related to the Bank`s digital communications, including its public websites, intranet, and mobile applications. You will be responsible for working on web development projects, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with other developers to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. You will report to the Manager of Digital Solutions. Job Description What You Will Do: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards Test and debug code to ensure that it functions as expected Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as required Maintain and update existing websites and applications Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends as well as security best practices Contribute to the documentation of projects, including code documentation and user manuals Subordinates: None Scope Measurements: None What You Will Have Education and Experience: Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant experience required Minimum of 1 year experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining websitesKnowledge and Skills: Proficient with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Working knowledge of React.js or other JavaScript frameworks Experience in C# or Java Experience with .NET Framework preferred Good understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server Experience with building secure web-based applications using coding best practices. Experience with Git or other relevant source control software Experience using Sitecore a plus. Strong working knowledge of object-oriented programming Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to work collaboratively as part of a team Write well documented source code. Document testing and release plans. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to solve problems in an efficient and accurate manner Ability to prioritize correctly when tackling larger workloads Physical Requirements: None Other Requirements: None The salary grade for this position is 12.
