DESCRIPTION Summary:We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and responsible team member to join our team as a part-time Food Prep member.Food prep duties include precisely chopping ingredients, labeling food items accurately, and sanitizing workstation throughout the day. This position works as part of a team to ensure food and ingredients are prepared and served according to recipes, brand procedures, and quality standards in a timely manner. Position may be required to work weekends. This Food Prep job is located at the Philadelphia International Airport and requires fingerprint and background check. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Completing all tasks on the prep list from Manager or other kitchen staff. Assists with food preparation by chopping, slicing, dicing, measuring, washing, sorting ingredients like vegetables and meats, preparing sauces, preparing salads, slicing bread and plating. Gather ingredients from food storage and freezer as needed. Organizing, labeling, and stocking kitchen supplies. Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to resupply. Stores left over ingredients when appropriate. Assist with keeping food storage clean and properly organized. Must utilize FIFO method when storing and using food inventory. Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils, cookware, and taking out trash. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations through regular sanitization and cleaning routines.
