Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Graduate Programs Coordinator Diversity Statement The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the institution. Posting Summary Manage all aspects of four distinct graduate programs housed in the Community Development and Applied Economics Department: CDAE M.S., Master of Public Administration ( MPA ), Sustainable Development, Policy, Economics, and Governance ( SDPEG ) Ph.D. program, and Certificate of Graduate Study in Community Resilience and Planning. Primary responsibilities include admissions, academic advising, coordination and allocation of student funding, managing internships, implementation of student and alumni events and awards, and budget management. Recruit and onboard Peace Corps Campus Recruiter and Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows. Use specialized program knowledge and judgment in prioritizing workflow, selecting methods and applying UVM policy to optimize academic advising and program management. Coordinate various functions related to student services within and outside of the department. Work with program directors and the department chair to develop, organize and implement programmatic procedures, processes and lead promotional activities relating to student success. Provide data analysis of program outcomes to adjust curriculum and ensure the longevity and relevance of the graduate programs being offered through the department. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor's Degree and three years of related experience required. Effective interpersonal and communication skills required. Effective organizational skills and ability to work independently required. Proficient with software applications used to support office systems and data management required. Desirable Qualifications Masters Degree. Knowledge of CDAE graduate programs and curriculum highly desirable. Experience with HTML , Microsoft Word, Excel, and SPSS highly desirable. Anticipated Pay Range $26-$29 per hour (approx. 50,700-56,550/yr) Other Information Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Background Check required for this position FLSA Non-Exempt Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate) Posting Details Position will be posted for a minimum of one week, after which it is subject to removal without notice.
