Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Research Specialist Diversity Statement The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the institution. Posting Summary Coordinate research activities under the supervision of the Director of Emergency Medicine Research and the Vice Chair of Research. Collaborate in clinical study design and execution, recruitment of new grants/clinical studies, budget reporting, preparation of Institutional Review Board Submissions, and supervise research technicians and students on aspects of patient/subject involvement in the Emergency Department setting. Perform data collection, analysis and presentation, oversight of data and sample collection and processing, including performing phlebotomy per site policy and processing specimens (centrifuge, aliquot) and maintaining local repository of samples. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor's degree in related field and three to four years' related experience required. Experience with RedCap, Microsoft Office (Excel), SPSS , STATA as well as with clinical studies, budget reporting, IRB submissions, and data collection, analysis and presentations. Desirable Qualifications Specialized EMT licensure approved certification and/or licensure desired. Anticipated Pay Range 51,000 - 57,000 Other Information This position is funded through August 30, 2025.
