We encourage you to learn more by visiting , or our parent company at Position Overview We are seeking a summer intern. The desired area of interest is Mine Engineering. The intern season will begin between mid-May/early June 2025 and run through August 2025. The location is in Monroe, MI. To qualify for the intern program you must be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school. Most of our intern positions will work in outdoor and indoor conditions. Interns must be 18 years or older and able to perform the job duties with or without accommodation. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions): Collaborates and conducts with others geographical exploration by reviewing maps and drilling logs to determine location, size, accessibility and estimated volumes of deposits Assists in determining long-range planning designs and data Ability to detect safety hazards and respond accordingly. Adhere to any and all state and federal regulations, if applicable, as set forth by the US Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or any other regulatory agency Operate sUAV for mine planning, topography mapping and stripping calculations.
