THE CITY OF MCCOMB IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR POLICE OFFICERS Hiring Qualifications: At least 21 years of age United States Citizen High School Graduate (GED Acceptable) Must have a valid Mississippi Driver's License If any military service, must have been discharged under honorable conditions Pass physical fitness agility test Must score 70% or better on the Civil Service written examination Must pass a background check; Cannot have a felony conviction Must pass a physical examination Must pass a pre-employment drug test BEGINNING SALARY $19.48 HOURLY GREAT BENEFIT PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDES: Employee Paid Health, Life, Dental and Vision Insurance; State Retirement with the Public Employees' Retirement System; 10+ Holidays; Sick/Annual Leave Accrual. Take-home car. Schedule will entail 7 days on, concluded by 7 days off.
