For more information, click here .Role reports to: Global Lead for Ingredient Policy & StrategyLocation: Skillman, NJ ( The offices and this position will be moving to Summit, NJ in 2025.Travel %: 5%Pay: $152,000 - $205,000What you will doThe Project Manager, Product Resiliency and Sustainability is will work directly as part of the Ingredient Resiliency team and will be responsible for leading/managing business critical programs/projects and the associated teams in direct support of updating and managing the Restricted Substances List and subsequent workstreams. This role will typically lead multiple programs and/or projects of significant complexity and business impact with a large degree of autonomy, and will have periodic interaction with and provide updates to Global and Regional Senior Executives within the end-to-end R&D organization and across the Consumer Segment. This position will manage multiple global and regional project teams and will coordinate with project managers and SMEs based on program scope and complexity. This person will bring to the position knowledge of product development processes associated with cosmetics, personal care products, self-care (OTC) and/or dietary supplements, and should have some experience background in chemistry or chemical engineering. Helpful skills include end-to-end supply chain structure and process, financial and cost management practices, as well as the ability to lead, communicate within, and partner across, and throughout the Consumer Health organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall program/project delivery management and leadership to specific global initiatives including case development, schedule/scope management, communications, resource management, project integration, critical path / proactive risk management, governance and sub-team management.Project Management - Coordinate overall team activities to deliver time-bound objectives and product changes in a compliant and reliable manner. This includes development of clear project objectives, managing & tracking timelines & critical milestones, establishing contingency & acceleration plans, facilitating team decisions and issue resolution, risk management and coordinating team meetings and minutes.Develop, maintain and monitor program/project plans and integrate/coordinate execution activities.Maintain information and data supporting program tracking and reporting tools to ensure that the portfolio of projects and initiatives are proactively handled, have appropriate visibility at all organizational levels, and that clear communication of status is timely and transparent.Ensure that key program/project objectives are aligned to and then realized to the expectations of Senior Leadership of the Consumer Business. Apply process and result metrics throughout the duration of all programs and projects.Demonstrate leadership, and influence skills throughout the organizationCommunicate appropriately and effectively at all levels. Proactively identify and communicate risks and issues to stake-holders; lead development and delivery of mitigation and contingency plans.Ensure excellence in project execution through implementation of and modeling industry standard processes and global project management capabilities including portfolio and project data integrity.Support project team members by eliminating execution barriers, escalating issues as appropriate and engaging ultimate decision makers as quickly as possible.Ensure the program scheduling, execution and any potential adjustments are made to improve the opportunity for globalization, speed to market, resource optimization, design to value, design for manufacturability, support of our sourcing strategy, cost optimization, and product complexity reduction.Development of and timely, effective delivery of communications as required.Ongoing proactive management of program interdependencies and conflicting priorities.
