Work Location:This position will be based at our Oregon, MO location. Hours: 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotation Job Purpose: Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, agricultural, commercial and real estate loan products to ensure compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides administrative assistance to the loan officers including updating loan data for entry into the financial institutions computers and assembling loan documents. Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation. Checks documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates and signatures. Completes lien searches and filings; maintains current liens by filing continuations when needed; completes filings to perfect security interests in collateral. Maintains new and paid loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Uses office computers for data input and other activities and orders credit reports. Completes quality checks of loan packets, document deficiencies, and resolves exceptions with loan officers. Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loan processing. Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Banks policies. Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed during peak hours. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience processing consumer real-estate loans. Six months to one year of experience in an office environment. Successful completion of in-house training program (if available) or approved outside training program. Good understanding of financial institution products and services. Working Conditions: This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements: This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
