Reads all notes for Clinician. Completes all documentation. Maintains all hospital systems for Clinician ie. CMHC and BHIS. Assists patients with coordination of services and resource referrals. Maintains and monitors all charts for compliance. Carry s out all miscellaneous clerical responsibilities including reception desk and phone coverage. Qualifications: Required: Able to type 55 words per minute. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel On the job training. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs. High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelors Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable): Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions): 8:00 5:00 Days Full-Time Essential Functions: Assist Therapist with all paperwork and general case management. Monitor treatment plans for compliance. Assists in data collection as directed. Ie.Census, USTF, CMHC Database, etc. Assists patients with coordination of services ie. housing, food pantries, DVR, medication, etc. Calls Insurance Company s for authorization and relays information to registration staff for data entry. Completes and Submits billing slips for all patient visits at the time of service. Handles correspondence and requests for information from doctors, lawyers, insurance providers, SSI, etc. Maintains electronic charts in BHIS for all patients. Performs all other duties as assigned. Performs clerical duties as required: faxing, light typing, telephone coverage, photocopying, taking and delivering messages, and front desk maintenance, Co-Pay collection. Performs required clerical duties relating to the intake, transfer and discharge of a patient. Personally responsible for meeting all education and certification requirements: Net-learning, CEU s CPR, BEST. Etc Read all documents and correspondence. Proofreads previous sessions notes from JAWS to Clinician. Responsible for CMHC database maintainance ie. case transfers and closures. Review all work for accuracy and compliance with all regulations on a daily basis. Schedules patients appointments and checks for patient arrivals via the system Calls patients to remind of upcoming appointments. Track and monitor all assigned open OPD cases for accuracy and to identify cases to be closed.
