But it's our unique opportunity to impact people's lives that makes ZOLL the ideal place to build your career.Job SummaryThe Manager of Marketing Communications will lead Marketing Communications and Public Relations efforts for the Cardiac Management Solutions (CMS) business, including providing strategic support to our international marketing colleagues. This will be accomplished throughcollaboration with Product Marketing to translate strategic marketing initiatives into multi-channel campaigns. The Manager of Marketing Communications will manage global marketing communications plans and activities, including customer facing advertising campaigns,promotional materials, educational tools and internal sales tools. The Manager of Marketing Communications is responsible for the team that manages our Public Relations strategy, the CMS global website, and creation of global sales and marketing materials.Essential Functions Collaborate with Product Marketing to turn strategic marketing initiatives into integrated communication plans and campaigns that include objectives, target audiences, positioning, program details, budgets, and success metrics. Lead the development of supporting campaign material based on clinical indication driven market segments, including design and execution of messaging, promotional materials, sales tools, and proof sources. Lead the development of advertising campaigns including strategies for customer engagement. Lead recommendations for prioritization of marketing channels, programs, and spend. Lead the development and execution of the Public Relations strategy for the CMS Solutions business, including local and national public relations activities, press releases, editorial/trade opportunities, and communications to the field sales team. Provide Public Relations consultation and support on PR strategy and execution to international colleagues. Lead the global CMS website and digital marketing strategy. Oversee the management, development, content generation, and maintenance of US and International LifeVest websites. Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices into campaign/messaging plans for the business. Collaborate with international colleagues in geographies such as Europe and Asia to support launch of messaging campaigns, new tools and/or product/product features. Identify and select vendors according to project and business requirements and hold suppliers accountable to performance standards. Manage Marketing Specialists who will lead or support PR, website, and campaign programs or initiatives. Manage the Marketing Communications/Materials budget, including forecasting and tracking spend. Manage the execution of international collateral, including new materials and localizations. Develop and manage metrics to evaluate and continuously optimize ROI of marketing activities. Work with marketing colleagues to ensure that all content is taken through proper Regulatory, Quality and Legal reviews in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Marketing Communications. Leverage information and analytics to make informed business decisions. Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience working in marketing or communications required. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry preferred. Experience with creative development process, including concept development, messaging, and copy, and working with designers to execute creative vision required. Experience with strategy, concept development, copy, and execution of print and digital/multi-media channels including video and web advertising preferred. Experience with mobile app development preferred. Experience measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI and recommending adjustments accordingly required. Five years' experience managing vendors required. Experience managing vendors on projects involving multi-media/digital communication required. Prior experience managing the work of other team members in a project management capacity required, as is experience creating team objectives and goals and holding team members accountable for performance against goals required. Experience working with marketing colleagues in different geographies preferred. Experience with website management required. Strong project management experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The individual must be well-organized, have a high attention for detail, deadline driven, and have the tenacity to see a project from start to finish. Strong written and oral communication skills. The individual must consistently exercise good decision-making skills and independent judgment. Able to meet objectives and goals within deadlines and must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and with a sense of urgency. Strong project planning and project management skills required. Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator) highly preferred. Travel required (10-20%).
