Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA STARTING RATE: $23.00 SHIFT: Per Diem, Days BENEFITS: Weekly Paychecks Referral Bonuses Flexible Schedules - Full & Part-Time Openings Peer Mentorship Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under an occupational therapist's direction to conduct treatment procedures that aim to improve a patient's day-to-day functioning despite impairment or limited mobility. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing equipment for treatment and occasional clerical duties REQUIREMENTS: New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure CPR certification Physical strength to lift between 50-100lbs Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary Respect for residents' privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness Qualities of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with residents and other staff members APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME To Josh Koch Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center or Absolut Care of Westfield are two of our facilities located in Chautauqua County.
