Job Posting - Construction InspectorLocated in Toms River, NJ provides clients with the highest level of expertise in Engineering, Surveying, Planning, and Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Capital Reserve Planning, and Inspection Services.We are currently seeking an individual to join our pavement and sitework team as a Site Field Inspector. You'll be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package and become part of the family.Duties/Responsibilities: Perform pavement and flatwork inspections. Perform land development and storm water management inspections. Prepare reports and specifications. Research, due diligence, application submission and various other reporting. Communicate with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities. Manage field issues and changes with appropriate teams. Negotiate, prepare, issue and execute change orders, and prepare appropriate revisions to budget. Perform project scheduling and project close-outs.Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform duties under highly active work zone, and high temperature conditions. Able to develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Education and Experience: One to three years of demonstrated experience in the construction or evaluation of paving, concrete, drainage capital assets, or related fields. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
