We are seeking an SAP Solution Architect who is in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients, who an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in New Jersey.This position is responsible for designing and implementing IT systems architecture that meet the set business requirements for a complex, long-term program to modernize the existing SAP ERP system to S4/HANA for a regulated utility client.Location: This position is located in Newark, NJ. Candidate must be local and able to go in the office dailyResponsibilities:Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with Business and IT Product OwnersProduce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirementsCollaborate with a team of Developers, and Engineers to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needsEngage with clients in understanding their requirements, scoping, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and use cases and a roadmap to meet their goals.Assist the business in understanding the effort, risk, and effect of making changes existing architectureProduce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirementsDesign workflows and assignment rules to automate manual processesCreate and maintain system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree with eight plus (8+) years of experience.
