Shipping Clerk Location: WADSWORTH, OH, United States Job Family : Manufacturing Job Type : Regular Posted : Mar 6, 2024 Job ID: 47266 Job Description Basic Function: Perform shipping duties Scope/Supervision: A positive working relationship with all team members in all departments and supervision. Package products for shipment to customers Assist in loading and unloading of trucks Operate table saw and various hand tools to make boxes and skids Operate overhead crane Keep work area clean and organized using the 5S+ Safety approach. Support and participate in all LEAN activities Inform supervisor of maintenance needs on all equipment Follow all OSHA compliance regulations Be an effective team member and perform other duties as required by supervision and as responsibilities necessitate High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and receiving documents. Must be able to regularly lift up to 25lbs., intermittently lift up to 40lbs., and occasionally lift up to 75lbs. with team assistance. Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to withstand repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, ladders, and squatting. Daily attendance is required.
