Job Title: Certification EngineerJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Certification Engineer to manage required documentation for attaining Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), Technical Standard Orders (TSO), and Parts Manufacturing Approvals (PMA) in compliance with all FAA requirements for any IS&S system on any aircraft type, specifically 14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27, and 29. Hard Skills Attend surveys, meetings, and aircraft installations to verify compliance with FAA/EASA regulations Produce documentation needed to attain airworthiness certification: PSCP, ICA, AFMS, SSA, FMEA, Installation Instructions, Operations & Installation Manuals, ELA, Weight & Balance Reports, Fire Property Reports, HIRF and Lightning Reports, EMI/RFI Test Plans, Ground Test Plans, Flight Test Plans, System Substantiation Reports, Summary Compliance Reports Manage external resources including engineering vendors, FAA/EASA representatives, DERs, DARs, DMIRs Coordinate projects with internal departments including Program Management, Product Support, Operations, Purchasing, and Business Development Perform ISO9001/AS9100D Internal Auditing Perform Software Quality Assurance Tasks and Auditing per DO-178C Perform Hardware Quality Assurance Tasks and Auditing per DO-254 Perform Environmental Qualification Conformity and Auditing per DO-160G Provide support to Software and Hardware Engineering by developing and maintaining procedures, performing inspections and audits, and developing plans incorporating quality assurance activities unique to each software and hardware development effort Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Exton, Pennsylvania.
