UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a scientist at the rank of Research Assistant Professor on the non-tenure track. The ideal candidate for this position will have completed a PhD (or equivalent) and postdoctoral training in adolescent health, violence prevention, and substance use. The candidate should have a research program focused on the role of social and contextual factors on adolescent health among minoritized youth. The candidate should have experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods and community-partnered research. The candidate should have a record indicating strong potential for academic productivity and further extramural funding. The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh has 5 clinician-investigator faculty engaged in high-quality NIH and foundation-supported research, making it one of the best-funded adolescent health research programs in the country.
