If you want to make an impact in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the Role:FIS is looking for a Principal Analyst - Strategic Finance that will work closely with Finance, Enterprise Strategy colleagues and other senior business executives to bring mix of corporate finance, strategy and shareholder value lens to financial and strategic problems, such as long-range financial planning, resource allocation, budgeting, M&A, organic investments, and other business problems to ensure attainment of FIS' financial and strategic business goals.What you will be doing? Monitor industry trends, competitors action, and articulate their impact on our business operations and capital markets performance and remedial actions Defines and disseminates strategic finance methodology utilized at all levels of the corporation, including business segments. Works closely with FP&A, M&A, IR and business segment strategy teams to influence consistent application of shareholder value principles to financial and strategic decisions. Work with FP&A and business partners to build annual targets, budgets and long-range plan (LRP) Build perspective on optimal capital allocation for the businesses given business trajectories Build, enhance and maintain a granular sum-of-the-parts DCF model for the company Leverage analyticsl skills to not just execute financial analysis, but also be strategic thinker who helps set the agenda for the team Prepare and communicate financial analysis and its implications to execute leadershipWhat you will need:Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering or other disciplines, and 10+ years of experience. An MBA or Management Consulting experience from a top-tier consulting firm is highly desirable. Deep conceptual and practical knowledge of corporate finance and shareholder value creation principles, including Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), NPV, IRR, shareholder value creation, M&A deal mechanics, synergies, stock buybacks, TSR Requires strong financial modeling skills Skill to create and explain complex financial models that support executive decision-making Familiarity with other areas such as corporate strategy, M&A, investor relations, pricing, portfolio management, competitive intelligence and primary research experience Strong analytical skills with passion for structured problem solving is a must; familiarity with management consulting problem solving toolkit is desirable Ownership mindset and ability to end-to-end handle complex problems Familiarity with financial data systems such as Hyperion Essbase, IBM Cognos, Oracle Cloud Requires working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and their application in a large, diverse organization Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations High attention to detail and experience of building quality end-products for senior executives Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence Sufficient intelligence, professional experience and interpersonal skills to successfully interact and collaborate with peers and the corporation's most senior executivesWhat we offer you:A career at FIS is more than just a job.
