Job Overview: As a Part-TimeAmenities CenterAssociate, you willbe responsible forproviding exceptional customer service at the Fitness Center. You would meet and greet residents and check guests and service providers in/out.Assistwith general concierge services and perform administrativetasksincludingaccuratelymaintainingdaily logs,recordsand forms.You will regularlywalk aroundthe building premises,as directed,for monitoring purposes. You will alsooverseechecking pool chemicals, aid in cleaning pool and gym equipment, checking residents in for fitness classes, aiding in creating fitness calendars, and planning fitness events. During the summer season, duties will also includemonitoringthe outdoor pool, and making sure residents are abiding by all fitness center rules. When needed, associatesmay be asked to assist at theAmblebrookClubhouse as well. Your Responsibilities: Provides exceptional customer service. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors andoperateselectronic security control systems; and accuratelymaintainsdaily logs,recordsand forms. Assistswith general concierge services and performs administrativetasks such asWord and Excel document work. Aid in planning fitness events and activities Assistsin set up and clean up for events Assistwith pool dutiessuch as checking chemicals and cleaning the pool Walk the building premises,as directed,for monitoring purposes Monitors and controls access to the building Monitors the fitness center and pool area for cleanliness Reports any maintenance issues Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary Helpsmaintaina safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s) May be assigned other duties by supervisor Skills & Qualifications: Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to be a team player andassistwith the needs of the community Demonstrates excellent customer service,communicationand time management skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Outlook,Wordand Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsrequired Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability toquickly and easily navigate the property/buildingasrequiredto meet the job functions Ability to lift 30 - 50lbs Requires standing, sitting position forlong periodsof time, walking and occasional climbing when necessary Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages; must be able to reach with hands and arms The employeeis required towork at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time Must have the ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms Occasional overtime may berequired Must be able to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend Board meetings.
