REPORTS TO: Location Manager STATUS: Non-Exempt PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT The Administrative Assistant (Seasonal) for Agronomy and Grain provides comprehensive administrative support to multiple departments within the agronomy and grain management sectors. This role requires the assistant to rotate between various teams, locations, or departments, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural practices and grain management, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation as required by different departments. Maintain and update records related to crop data, soil analysis, grain inventory, and other relevant information. Input and manage data related to agronomic practices, grain storage, and handling. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all records, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards. Serve as a liaison between various departments, customers, and suppliers, ensuring clear and timely communication. Manage and maintain documentation required for compliance with agricultural and grain management regulations. Rotate between different agronomy and grain management teams or locations as needed, offering support where it is most required. Adapt quickly to the needs of different departments, maintaining a high level of service and efficiency. Assist with customer inquiries, order processing, and communication with suppliers. Support the sales and procurement teams with administrative tasks related to grain contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Educations and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the agricultural or grain management sector. Familiarity with agronomy, crop management, and grain handling is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor. Interpersonal skills, as they must interact with a wide variety of individuals.
