They keep people and projects running smoothly, ensuring every part of our business is provided for and well taken care of.GENERAL FUNCTION The Tax Manager- International Tax works closely with the Director, International Tax & Transfer Pricing to ensure proper compliance regarding U.S. international tax matters. They work with the internal tax technology team to improve and transform tax processes through leveraging automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement. They interact with accounting, finance, and tax teams from around the world and must have great communication and follow-up skills. The Tax Manager - International Tax will work as part of a global tax team responsible for supporting U.S. international tax compliance and tax provision calculations, assisting with tax modeling and restructuring initiatives, and research and documentation of foreign tax positionsMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead responsible for the foreign tax compliance, including:Coordinate and supervise analysis of financial inputs from accounting teamsReview and Compute international calculations for with detailed computations under Section 904, Section 951A, Section 59A, etc to ensure proper tax expense as required under tax reform for the U.S. consolidated tax returnCoordinate automated input, where possible, of workpaper data with internal tax technology team.Primary Review of foreign tax compliance including Forms: 5471, 8858, 8865, 5472, 1118, 8991, 8992, 8993, and other tax forms and calculations as required within the evolving tax reform landscape.Review, update, and manage standard tax reporting packagesLead Review of foreign branch tax compliance, including:Quarterly tax installments and year-end provision calculations for foreign branchesQuarterly reporting requirements to foreign parent.Lead for Tax cash forecasting for tax payments, initiating select branch income tax paymentsEvaluate tax considerations of new branch locations for managementAnalyze transfer pricing margins for foreign branches and North American CFC's and advise, coordinate, and implement year-end adjustments.Monitor current international tax developments for potential implications to the company. Research and analyze impact of enacted and potential law changes. Prepare memos on relevant foreign tax positions.Assist and Review basis studies and tax gain/loss calculations associated with CFC and branch legal entity restructuringsOversee foreign withholding taxes, including monthly remittances, contract and treaty review of new foreign vendors, and annual Form 1042-S filingsIdentify opportunities to streamline tax compliance processes, creating efficiencies through increased standardization and automationKnowledge of Mexican taxes including knowledge of IMMEX and maquila structures a plusBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's in accounting or tax, or equivalent.Minimum of five years' experience in public accounting and/or private industry working primarily in corporate tax with international experience.Experience with Corptax, Onesource Tax Provision, SAP, Hyperion, and Business Intelligence tools) is preferred.Excellent time management, organization, and communication skillsAbility to work with cross functional teams and proactively seek data process and technology solutions.Self-Motivated, business savvy, integrity and team player. Research and Analytical skills a must.Supervising of Staff and ability to execute project with tax management.Pay Range: 109,289.60-165,755.20Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
