Summary:Reporting directly to the Director of Payroll, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for completing all payroll functions of the organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position will be based out of our corporate office in Conshohocken, PA with an in-office schedule of Tuesday-Friday and Monday as an option to work remotely.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of biweekly/weekly payroll with duties as assigned by Payroll ManagerAssist in researching, analyzing and resolving payroll related issues or questions from employees and other internal staff as directed by the Payroll ManagerProcess off-cycle check requests, including PTO cash outs.Reviews time & attendance, manager approval, and pending PTO reportsReviews and addresses payroll tax notices and rate changesMaintain all payroll filing systems including employee active and terminated files as well as payroll vendor files.Transition payroll filing system to include electronic files.Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll reportsMaintain Wage Attachment files and update electronic tracking with each processed payroll.Produce and write reports from payroll system.Requirements and Desired SkillsMinimum of Associate Degree in Accounting; Bachelor’s degree preferredA minimum of 3 years of payroll experience; a minimum of 1 year of multi-state payroll experienceKnowledge of local, state, and federal payroll lawsKnowledge of local and state sick laws preferredEfficiency and attention to detail is critical.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsOrganizational skills to balance and prioritize workProficient in the use of a PC including email functionsMicrosoft Office software (Word, Excel) with ability to create and/or maintain documentsProficient working knowledge of Dayforce (Ceridian) preferredThe “Benefits” of Employment:Employee referral payment programEducational Enhancement ProgramMedical, Dental, and Vision benefitsLife/AD&D InsuranceLongand short term disabilityRetirement Plan - 401(k) PlanDiscount on an apartment with any one of our propertiesSalary range: $60,000-65,000/yrIf you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.Get To Know Us:Established in 1985 by Mitchell Morgan, Morgan Properties is a national real estate investment and management company headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
