What are you waiting for?Job Purpose:The Senior Cost Accountant will support the costing process at FXI through creating, maintaining, and updating the product costing standards across the organization. The selected individual will work cross-functionally to ensure product costing standards are in place across the organization, which ultimately, will ensure alignment, accuracy, and efficiency.Ensure Product Costing Standards are in place and up to date across the organizationSupport and ensure alignment with plant budgeted standards (plant cost/forecasted sales)Work and align cross functionally with operations and engineering on effect of proposed changes and coordinate with FP&ASupport the quoting team in developing accurate standards for new capital and layouts and workflow within the plantsCoordinate and help develop efficiency metrics within and across the plantsDrive for efficiency, alignment, and accuracy across the plantsAnalyze variations from standards and ensure root causes are identified and improvements are in placePerform fixed and variable cost analysis for both operations and overhead within and across the plantsDrive best practice sharing across the plantsOther duties as required Key Attributes:Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate at all levels of the organizationInnovative-inquisitive, challenges status quoHighly analytical with ability to challenge respectfullyStrong prioritization and project management skillsCultural alignment - unwavering ethical standards; drives excellence and innately collaborativeComfort and experience with complex, large, and heavily matrixed organizationsBS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering4-6 years of manufacturing cost accounting experienceLean manufacturing/green belt certification preferredExperience with SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, Power BI, MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to perform daily analytics, auditing, diagnosis, and coordination of cost accounting standards across plantsAbility to drive and reinforce cost accounting standardsAbility to conduct time studies and translate findings cost savingsCreate MRP capacity planning models across plantsAbility to identify, communicate and collaborate plant shop floor differences and successesExtensive experience working collaboratively with teams and a wide range of stakeholdersUp to 30% travel#LI-Hybrid #LI-JM1
