Audacy New York is seeking a bright, energetic, self-starter for a Sales Assistant position. We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented individual who can multi-task and has exceptional organizational and computer skills to support Sales Managers and Sales Staff and act as a liaison between Account Executives and clients when appropriate.The anticipated starting salary range for New York-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $45,000.00/Yr.-$50,000.00/YrSalary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.Audacy offers full time employees with a comprehensive benefits package to include: health care coordinator, medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, disability, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, paid time off (sick, vacation, personal, parental, volunteer), 401(k) retirement plan, discounted employee stock purchase, student loan payment assistance program, legal assistance, life assistance program, identity theft protection, discounted home and auto insurance, and pet insurance.What You'll Do:Create sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials; creating and/or maintaining one-sheets and media kitsAssist Account Executives with preparing proposalsUpdate managers by consolidating, analyzing and forwarding daily action summariesObtain local invoices for clients/agencies as needed; interacting closely with Traffic Department to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and track down missing copy and instructionsResolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customersPerform general administrative duties including filing, scanning and copying; provide back up to Traffic and provide phone coverage for station as needed.Assist General Manager with client parties, i.e., scheduling, coordinating using approved vendorsFacilitate copy production in vCreativeWorks as a team with other departments, individualsAttend sales meetings, training sessions and client remotes as needed.Required & Preferred:Exceptional in presentation, negotiation and written/verbal communication skillsEnergetic and confident with the ability to think and learn on-the-spotProfessionally polished, poised and determined; A motivated self-starter and independent workerAble to effectively utilize research in presentationsFast-paced, self-driven, assertive and results orientatedSkilled with a high degree of time management and organizational skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently under pressureAble to demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage one’s business with minimal supervisionCollege degreeComputer proficiency with Microsoft and GooglePlease be aware that Audacy willneverask you to send money at any point during the hiring process.
