Support the Office of Career and Professional Development's (OCPD) mission of assisting Touro Law students, alumni and employers by providing administrative support to OCPD and assisting with all activities flowing through OCPD.Greet all visitors to OCPD and assist with any questions they may have to provide a positive customer experience.Review and input student and alumni job postings and employer records on Symplicity, OCPD’s electronic job bank, within 48 hours of receipt.Interact and respond to employer, student, and alumni inquiries about job postings.Answer telephones and assist Assistant Dean with scheduling appointments.Verify and approve student and alumni registrations on Simplicity.Assist with On Campus Interview (OCI) process in fall and spring as needed, including inputting:Employer informationStudent documentation requiredInterview schedule for each participating employerAnnouncements for studentsAssist with all “Reciprocity” requests by students and graduates.Disseminate Loyola’s Patent Law Interview Program information to appropriate professors, counselors and students. Assist selected students as needed with registration.Assist with special projects as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Career & Professional Development and the Director of Externships and Employer Relations.Assist with and manage social media calendar and postings.Order supplies, and complete filing and other tasks as needed.Prepare and submit invoices and expense reports for payment and reimbursement, respectively.Other duties as are assigned by the Assistant Dean for Career & Professional Development.Under supervision of Assistant Dean, create and e-mail independent alumni job postings to The Intercollegiate Job Bank on a monthly basis.Education/ ExperienceAssociates Degree required.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Prior administrative office experience.Excellent Computer skills (including MS Office).Knowledge/ Skills/ AbilitiesHighly energetic, organized and ability to prioritize work.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work quickly and efficiently with attention to details.Completes tasks assigned; knows when to raise issues requiring the Assistant Dean’s or career counselors’s guidance or intervention.Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.Ability to problem solve and exhibit a positive attitude.Outstanding ability to manage multiple priorities.USD $40,807.00/Yr.USD $32,645.00/Yr.
