Position Title: Administrative Assistant (Accounts Receivable Technician)Location: Denver Vet Center - 7465 E 1st Ave Ste B, Denver, CO 80230Position Overview:Aptive is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to perform tasks supporting Accounts Receivable Technicians for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position involves both non-technical and technical processing of check refunds, ensuring compliance with VA standards and procedures.Work Environment:This position is onsite and will support VA operations. Strong collaboration and organizational skills are essential to meet the demands of the role.Key Responsibilities:Process check refunds in accordance with VA specifications.Provide administrative support for accounts receivable tasks and other office functions.Prepare reports and other program documentation, create graphic presentations, plan and coordinate meetings/conferences, and perform data entry, filing, and reproduction.Manage executive client calendars, schedule meetings and conferences, and coordinate meeting materials to ensure schedules are aligned.Draft and distribute agendas, briefings, papers, and other materials to support productive and efficient meetings.Assist in the coordination of onsite meetings, including meeting room setup and audiovisual support.Track action items, take meeting minutes, track documentation, and follow up with due outs after meetings.Perform routine data entry, filing, and document reproduction tasks.Proofread and edit documents, applying familiarity with professional and technical terminology.Leverage tools for collaboration, data collection, and reporting, and identify program office administrative needs and potential solutions.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience, with a focus on accounts receivable or related fields.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficiency in preparing reports, presentations, and other program documentation.Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and editing documents.Familiarity with technical and specialized terminology.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a government or health care setting, particularly working with VA.Aptive is a modern federal consulting firm focused on human experience, digital services, and business transformation.
