We are looking to take the next step in the development of our HVAC Apprenticeship Program at F.H. Furr. For us, this means bringing in a talented individual to work with our Head Trainer in the HVAC Apprentice Training Program. The HVAC Technical Coach will be responsible for leading training sessions and teaching new hires along with continued development of existing HVAC Service Apprentices & Technicians. Are you someone that likes a challenge and will take personal pride in putting your stamp on an organization and its future?Duties:Lead specific classroom and practical training opportunities for HVAC Apprentices & TechniciansAssist with monthly ongoing technical training for all HVAC Service TechniciansPerform in-field ride-a-longs with service technicians, focused on skills development and ongoing training in the field in all market areasProvide phone and video-chat support to technicians in the fieldWork closely with HVAC Training team to define goals and measurables for apprentices entering the team.Develop individual coaching plans, provide resources and assistance, in addition to scheduling learning sessions with senior representativesDetermine training needs by observing inter-departmental and customer interactions, studying results reports, and conferring with leadershipImprove training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available and integrating support into routine job functionsUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizationsRequirements:10+ Years in the residential HVAC Service industryPosition requires travel up to 50% of the time depending on the needs of the businessExcellent presentation skillsAbility to work in a team or individually to complete complex tasksMust have advanced knowledge of general office procedures and demonstrate excellent organizational and computer skills specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mailEffective and collaborative team player, motivated by a fast-paced high-performance environmentDemonstrate ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers & supervisors; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues & maintain a positive work ethic; complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignmentsDisplay the ability to prioritize and plan work activities; uses time efficiently; plan for additional resources; set goals and objectives; develop realistic action plansBenefits:Company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(K) with a generous company matchCompany-paid Long Term Disability InsuranceCompany-paid Life Insurance policyAdditional supplementary insurance optionsPaid Vacations, Holidays, and Sick daysCompany Vehicle & Fuel CardUSD $65,000.00/Yr.USD $85,000.00/Yr.
