Under the direction of the Casino Accounting Manager, the incumbent will provide direct supervision of the Casino Accounting Department and staff.Responsible for auditing and reviewing the daily work performed by the Casino Accounting Representatives, in compliance with the J.A.C 13:69D regulationsPrepares statistical reports required by regulation and for internal use.Supervises all activities in the Casino Accounting Department on a daily basis.Responsible for auditing, reviewing and recording of the company’s daily revenue from the casino floor and Slot Data System.Assures compliance to established departmental procedures and policies.Assures adherence to DGE regulations and procedures and the system of accounting and internal controls.Ensures all necessary paperwork is completed properly.Prepares daily journals and worksheets to record information to be used for monthly entries posted to general ledger.Solves problems which arise in the daily paperwork from the floor by dealing directly with the supervisory personnel in the various departments.Schedules work assignments to Casino Accounting Representatives on a weekly basis.Supervises all activities and training in the department.Performs all other duties as assigned.#indeedACHigh School Diploma or GED is required.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Casino Accounting is required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.Knowledge of personal computers and computer systems including SDS preferred.Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.Mustcurrently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.Must be able to work Weekends
