Your responsibilities would include:Transforming nonprofitclientfinancial departmentstohelp themmeettheir mission!Financialreporting formanagement andBoarddecisionmakingand presentationsRecommendingandimplementingimprovements toaccounting, operations, internal controls,andcompliancepolicies andprocedures,supportingclient strategyand best practicesTransactionalactivitiesincluding accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing),andpayroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close,andmaintainingworkpapersAnalysisand datavisualization, budgeting andforecastingGrant management, allocations, and funder reportingPrepare for and manage annual auditClient and staff training opportunitiesPassionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizationsBachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance5-7plusyears accounting experienceExperience working in a remote environment preferredAbility to manageand leadmultiple clients, work independently,and be responsiveon a timely basisDemonstrated strongMicrosoftExcel skillsExperience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, andelectronic bill paysystemsNon-profitaccounting,publicaccounting experience, and/or consulting experienceisa plusbut not requiredCPA certification is a plusBilingual-English/Spanish a plusCustomized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications for this roleis requiredYPTC OffersA Best Place to Work!
