Job Title: ABA Teacher 1 (ABAT-1)Location: Crossroads School; A Program of Crossroads ContinuumSchedule: 7:30am- 3:00pm Monday-FridaySalary: $50,000Job Summary: Crossroads Continuum is seeking a dedicated ABA Teacher (ABAT-1) to join our team. Under the supervision of the Lead Special Education Teacher, the ABAT-1 will use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach students and help them achieve their goals and objectives outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Additionally, the ABAT-1 will serve as the Case Manager for 1 to 2 students, assisting in designing and modifying curricula, building supportive materials, and using them to teach new skills.Benefits:Generous Paid Time Off: 5 break weeks/equivalent, 9 sick days, 4 personal days, and 12 holidaysComprehensive Health Insurance: 70-80% employer paidDental and Vision Insurance PlansLife and Disability Insurance: Employer paid403(b) Retirement Plan: Up to 50% employer matchGenerous Tuition ReimbursementRequirements:Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Education or Behavior AnalysisExperience working with children with autism and related disabilities (preferred)Valid driver’s licenseMain Responsibilities:Ensure the supervision and safety of assigned studentsComply with HIPAA and FERPA guidelinesDemonstrate competency in foundational ABA skills as outlined in the 90-Day ChecklistDrive students and staff in Crossroads School vehicles as needed (during school hours only)Maintain case student’s program book per guidelinesUpdate case student’s program book with new IEPs within 5 school daysUpdate Behavior Management Guidelines as assigned by the EBSCMaintain case students’ electronic files per guidelinesConstruct Student Day packets per protocolMake curriculum and materials changes within a week of Clinics, Student Day, and Supervision MeetingsMonitor student progress and immediately alert the Lead Special Education Teacher of needed changesUpdate staff on case student’s progress, program changes, and follow-up from Student Day MeetingsAssist the Lead Special Education Teacher in curriculum development and modificationCommunicate parent concerns immediately to the Lead Special Education Teacher and/or EBSCAbout Crossroads Continuum: Crossroads Continuum is a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism.
