The Training Specialist assists the Learning & Development in all administrative functions. This individual is responsible to train new employees during onboarding, staff and to ensure associates are continuously growing and learning and ensuring training databases, metrics, and documentation are accurate. Holds high expectations to promote great teamwork, positive attitude, and ensure they can thrive in a fast-paced environmentAssist with back-up/co facilitation for New Employee Orientation/OnboardingPractices and creates a positive culture, making Marvin a great place to work and ultimately resulting in lowering turnoverResearch, plan, organize, and conduct training programs for production, supervisory, technical, and front-line managers.Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs as well as recommending appropriate changes.Assists Learning and Development with preparing various training programs.Administers and evaluates training program qualifications and determines eligibility of prospective attendeesPrepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessaryContacts attendees and department representatives for feedback about training programsMaintains the training calendar for all Warroad, schedules the appropriate resources, and prepares the physical setup.Continuously assesses team documents to ensure they are current to our processes; write and submits revisions as necessaryMaintains training documentation using LMS or other compliance software/tracking processes.Assist with data collection with skill pathing, assist in production shoots, and editing video of each job in job station, between 400-500.Handling reports for new production employee skill pathing certifications and overall progress with each product group.Surveying employees and then consolidating this data to report feedback to Product Groups, leaders and Human Resources.Four to six years of related teaching or training experience is strongly preferredMust possess the ability to communicate with employees, trainers from other companies, professional training group members, and consultants- either by phone, in person, or through written correspondence.Must be able to work independently and under minimal directionsBilingual language preferredFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
