JOB SUMMARY:The Accountant's primary responsibilities will be assisting in the day-to-day operation of the accounting department, assisting with the examination of Ecommerce sales and payments to determine potential fraud risk.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the monthly, quarterly and yearly closingsPrepare journal entries and maintain proper supporting documentationsAssist with bank reconciliation processAssist with fixed asset process and related journal entries Assist with fraud, chargeback, and open invoice analysisProcess the annual business license renewals and property taxesPrepare and respond to government surveys and annual reportsAssist with internal and external audit requirementAd hoc analysis and special projects as required from time to time.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:Timely closing of the accounting period. Timely Group reportingREQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:Undergraduate degree in Accounting is requiredProfessional designation (CPA) or on path to obtaining CPA designationEXPERIENCE:Prior Experience as an accounting clerk with 2-3 years of experience mainly focused on general accounting in a Consumer Products Company. Fashion Industry Background helpful but not requiredExperience should be with an organization of substantial size $100M + annual revenue and more than 100 retail stores, preferredSKILLS:Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with ability to meet deadlinesExcellent analytical abilities; ability to summarize data and analyze results Team player with proven organizational skills; ability to handle several projects concurrently SAP experience is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced environmentPHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Hybrid office schedule All Applicants:
