The Registered Nurse will be responsible for: Working with a multi-disciplinary team that provides quality care for patients and families of all ages in Pre-procedural, Procedural and PACU areas in the Gastroenterology Procedure Unit (GPU) - the primary home of the GI Division's endoscopy and motility programs. The GPU also hosts additional services that perform procedures in this setting. Conducting Pre-procedural assessments and planning. Working closely with physicians during procedures and post-procedure monitoring in the PACU setting. Conducting patient and family discharge teaching. 30hrs (three - 10hr days with varying start times, late call and weekend call on a rotating basis) To qualify, you must have: A minimum of 1-2 years of tertiary experience (ideally pediatric or procedural) or outpatient surgical experience. A BSN.
