Follows through on marking plans as directed by Assistant Director.Performs other duties as assigned.Assures that management policies and procedures to control cost expenditures in all areas are met.When applicable, ensures that cash control standards are followed and met according to set policy and procedures.Controls food service inventory, assuring stock rotation, proper storage and handling of products, safeguards food pletes quality assurance activities in accordance with NYULH and food service departmental policies and procedures.Conducts employee training and development programs consistent with departmental operating policies and procedures.Maintains a sanitary and safe operation in accordance with HACCP, federal, state and local health regulations.Minimum Qualifications:Associate degree in hotel and restaurant management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience at a managerial level, in either institutional or commercial food service.National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification (obtained within 6 months of hire).Preferred Qualifications:B.S. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $68,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
