Requisition #: 73659 The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on a Business Analyst to support enhancements across our Sales, Administration, and Director Surrounds value stream for Retirement Plan Services (RPS). There is an organizational focus to drive efficiency, reduce expenses, and enhance the customer experience through the modernization of our administrative technology. That focus and opportunity drove the need to create this new full-time remote position. In this role, you will partner closely with the product manager for the Sales, Administration and Director Surrounds value stream, as well as partner with peers across Product, Operations, Data, and IT to continue to define, shape, and document enhancements to existing capabilities and the development of new capabilities. What you'll be doing Works with the product manager and business stakeholders to translate the go forward vision into requirements/user stories Leverages knowledge of the product and business processes to help define acceptance criteria on user stories, performing additional research and analysis when needed to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria appropriately reflect business processes Completes business acceptance testing based on defined acceptance criteria Develops requirements/user stories through gathering supporting data (current and future state process maps/flows, data, vendor requirements, etc.) Represents business and customer needs with 3rd party vendors and development team to translate requirements and partner on solution alternatives Supports team in planning activities, ongoing maintenance activities, testing, releases, and production validation Accepts stories as 'done' based on pre-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring release quality Champions and enhances the evolution of our administrative processes by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects Proactively identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads and/or maintains/improves quality What we're looking for Must-haves: 3 - 5+ years business analysis or related experience in financial services that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of the position Forward thinking mindset with strong analytical acumen Confident, comfortable communicator with collaborative style and strong written and verbal communication skills 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail Strong prioritization skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines Nice-to-haves: RS/XNET system knowledge Retirement Plan Services knowledge Experience operating with agile framework Application Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted through September 27th, 2024, subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume What's it like to work here? Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
