Electrical Test Technician

Opportunity Overview: I&C Technician - Contract role - Andover, CT. We have an exciting opportunity for an I&C Technician in the Greater Hartford, CT. area. The position is for a 3-month assignment in Andover, Connecticut supporting Westinghouse. Contract may extend based on business needs. What your day-to-day looks like: Performing instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators. Interpret drawings and execute test procedures. Operate electronic and electrical test equipment. Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components. Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment. What we need to see from you: Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology is preferred. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience is required. 2+ years of experience is preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Field cable installation work is a plus.
