Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing ventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.Job SummaryThe Lead Coordinator, Inventory Management (Production Lead Hand) is responsible for monitoring the maintenance and process issues and the resolution of those issues on the production floor. The job is responsible for removing barriers to production and suggesting corrective action as necessary. The job is responsible for a significant portion of the production process.ResponsibilitiesEnsures that all machines are calibrated correctly and performs basic troubleshooting.Directs production activities for junior staff.Manages the production process and pro-actively reduces barriers to production vestigates mechanical and non-conformance issues on the production floor.Works with other teams (maintenance, etc.) to resolve issues on the production floor.Qualifications4+ years of experience, preferredHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignmentsDemonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilityTakes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignmentsMay provide technical guidance and training to othersMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issueMakes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementationAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with minimal degree of supervisionHas latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelinesProvides guidance to less experienced team membersMay have team leader responsibilities but does not formally superviseCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
