We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of our projects and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project accounting, with a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Monitor and report on project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.Prepare and present regular financial reports and forecasts to project managers and senior leadership.Manage invoicing processes, ensure timely payments to vendors and subcontractors, and handle client billing.Perform monthly reconciliations of project accounts and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including contracts, purchase orders, and receipts.Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Work closely with project managers, finance team, and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a related field.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in accounting software, and advanced Excel skills.Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and project budgeting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Pay Details: $33.00 to $38.00 per hourSearch managed by: Chelsea Mutton Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
