Summary Manages teams of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing hanging signs and other major components. Also supervises the day-to-day activities and operations of the Hanging Signs work group. Manages the safety, quality, scheduling and budget of all assigned hanging sign work. This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show site based out of Las Vegas, NV. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage team of exempt and non-exempt employees in the Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging Lines of Business. Hire, fire, train, manage, mentor, discipline, and coach employees. Properly delegate responsibilities. Continually grooms and develops individuals for all roles in the Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging Lines of Business to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times. Makes arrangements for alternative labor when normal labor sources are exhausted for skilled positions in the Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging Lines of Business from other Unions and/or branches as needed. Secure Exhibitor Sales Manual for shows and be familiar with the rules and regulations of the show. Interact with all Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging customers, including maintenance of existing accounts, development of new accounts, and building rapport with exhibit houses, key accounts, etc. Determines Aerial Equipment and Material needs for all events and orders accordingly, as well as ensures all invoices are routed properly and paid in accordance with Freeman procedures. Reviews all Show Management Rigging Work Tickets, makes recommendations as needed ensure that proper quality levels and the most cost effective materials and processes are utilized. Acts as the owner of all PlanTour adjustments, changes, and additions. Makes recommendations to Design as needed. Works with facilities as needed in regards to Hanging Signs. Reviews all aspects of Freeman Fabrications logistics, arrangements, and billing, ensures all protocols are followed. Understands proper procedures to complete paperwork pertaining to Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging. Check Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging work orders to verify accuracy of information. Check Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging work orders to verify accuracy of information. Secure all necessary equipment, tools, and supplies needed to service Hanging Signs Customers. Ensure that the Hanging Signs service desk is properly staffed. Make necessary arrangements with all pertinent Operations Department Managers to see that all equipment is delivered to show site. Prepare and place all labor calls for Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging. Prepare daily show floor worksheet and dispatch labor to the floor. Manage all Hanging Signs and Aerial Rigging show floor operations while maintaining high profile with clients. Interact with clients to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided. Maintain knowledge of all facets of the Rigging Coordinator and Supervisor jobs. Work with Operations Supervisor and Exhibitor Services while at show site. Ensures all safety protocols are adhered to in regards to proper certifications for Equipment Operators, proper fall protection is utilized, and proper Aerial Rigging procedures are followed. Attends preshow meetings, and daily production meetings to ensure smooth collaboration with all departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree or five (5) years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures (including labor jurisdictions). 5 years experience in an operations capacity. 3 years Rigging experience required. Hanging Signs and Aeriel Rigging experience and knowledge preferred. 2 years prior management experience preferred. Industry experience required. Excellent written and verbal skills.
