QA Inspector ($19.60 - $21.32) Job ID 2024-8662 of Openings 1 Type Full-Time Job Location: Address 550 Sunnyside Road State PA City Bedford ZIP Code 15522 Shift First Overview $1.50/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift ($19.60-$21.32) Responsibilities Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties: Review and understand quality documentation including drawings, specifications, Job orders and work instructions. Familiar with how to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment such as calipers and Plug gauges. Follow procedures for documenting containment of non-conforming product. Inspect and monitor production in -process and at Final Inspection to ensure customer specifications are met. Able to work independently, ability to multi-task and self-drive priorities while meeting the demands of the job responsibilities. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft applications High level of attention to details. Excellent written and verbal communication and math skills. Understanding of ISO 9001 and auditing a plus. Qualifications Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Other skills and abilities: Must be able to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, tape measures, etc; must be able to read blueprints Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
