We are seeking a Resident Account Specialist to join our team at our program in Crafton, PA. The primary responsibility for this position is the handling of the financial aspects for the residents to ensure eligibility of Medical Assistance and other government benefits for the caseload assigned to them. This position reports to the Resident Account Supervisor. WORK LOCTION TYPE: Office/Remote Responsibilities include: Completes Renewal Applications for processing of continued eligibility for Medical Assistance and SNAP benefits. Monthly reconciliation and tracking of SNAP benefits via Excel Spreadsheets Tracking and auditing of receipts for purchases made on behalf of the resident. Completes Representative Payee Reports from Social Security and other Governmental Agencies providing financial benefits to the residents. Monitors and updates resident wages for Medical Assistance and SSI reporting purposes. Processes debit card requests by entering data into Residents Accounts system and PNC. Maintain a proper filing system. Maintain all records as necessary. Prepares & organizes all tax forms required for yearly processing of State/Federal & Local tax returns. Training of new incoming House Mangers in their reporting responsibilities to the Resident Account Department. Such as, SNAP Procedures, Debit Card Procedures, Resident Account in-house fiduciary responsibilities. Processes checks when the Manager of Resident Account Services is unable to do so. Assists in other duties as necessary when the Manager of Resident Account Services is unable to do so, or upon request. Performs other duties as required. The role of this position may expand as necessary.
